**ndependent Living Specialists** (ILS) have evolved over the last 16 years, to position itself as Australia's largest range of Physiotherapy and home care equipment.

We seek a **Service Technician, **who is available **Monday-Friday** to provide support to our growing team in New South Wales. This is a fast-paced but very rewarding role, that will require you to work efficiently and accurately.

With over 50 retail stores currently, and plans to dramatically increase our footprint nationally, we are now beginning to recruit for future expansion.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Service and repair all medical and mobility equipment in the field and workshop
- Liaise with Customers, Service Coordinators, Field Technicians, Workshop Technicians and other internal departments to get the best outcomes for our customers
- Prepare and follow up quotes for repairs
- Submit a service report once the job is done.
- Prioritize and complete work so that ILS meets its contractual agreements and delivers customer service excellence
- Provide feedback on the quality and serviceability of our products so ILS can continuously improve
- Propose solutions to improve the customer experience and make ILS Servicing more efficient and effective
- Maintain your Service vehicle in good condition, ensuring it is well stocked with parts and consumables
- Other duties within the Service team as required
- Previous experience in repairing and maintaining equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot unsupervised
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge and use of Microsoft Products
- A friendly, proactive, and professional personality with a desire to listen, understand and assist with client needs
- Current driver's license.
- Willingness to obtain: Police Check, Working with Children's check and NDIS Worker Check
- Must be fully Covid-19 Vaccinated (3 doses).
- You will be highly regarded if you have demonstrated skills working in the health sector &/or with individuals with a medical condition or disability.

Due to year-on-year growth, we now have a temp-to-perm role available for a Technician to join our dynamic team.

**Job Types**: Casual, Temp to perm
Contract length: 6-12 months

**Salary**: $36.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Eastern Creek, NSW 2766: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Service technician: 1 year (preferred)
