War Memorial Hospital (WMH) is a 3rd Schedule Aged Rehabilitation hospital located in Waverley, owned and operated by Uniting and part of the South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD). WMH provides 24-hour inpatient care, outpatient services, Day Rehabilitation programs, and a full range of hospital support services. WMH is committed to delivering excellent podiatry care for people over 60 with foot conditions, and we are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Podiatrist to join the Podiatry Department.
This permanent part-time position functions as part of the multi-disciplinary team to plan, coordinate and deliver high-quality podiatry care to both outpatients and inpatients, in line with WMH, Uniting and SESLHD policies, procedures and standards.
The Podiatrist is responsible for assessing patient needs and eligibility, treatment planning and managing a designated caseload. The role also entails health promotion responsibilities with education provided to patients and staff.
This position is part-time, working 16 hours per week, commencing November 2025. Preferred days of work are flexible.

Responsibilities
Assess patient needs and eligibility; plan, implement and monitor treatment as part of an interdisciplinary team.
Develop and manage a designated podiatry caseload for outpatients and inpatients.
Provide patient education and health promotion to patients and staff.
Collaborate with other health professionals to ensure quality podiatry care and service delivery in line with WMH, Uniting and SESLHD policies.
Qualifications
Approved tertiary or postgraduate qualification in Podiatry from a recognised tertiary institution and current national registration with AHPRA.
Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality clinical services including client assessment, treatment and goal setting.
Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to engage with patients/clients to enhance service delivery.
Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and to exercise independent professional judgment on routine matters, commensurate with experience.
Demonstrated high level computer skills and the capacity to use health information systems.
Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement and evidence-based practice and ongoing clinical and professional learning.
Demonstrated understanding of Work Health and Safety (WHS) principles.
Current NSW Driver\'s Licence.
All Category A NSW Health workers are required to have received an annual seasonal influenza vaccination or have an approved medical contraindication certificate.
COVID-19 vaccinations are strongly recommended for all NSW Health workers.
