Alfresco Emporium is a leading Australian speciality retailer of lifestyle and dining products, supplying global brands, as well as our own exclusive lines.

We are opening an exciting new store in the Sydney CBD. We are seeking an experienced Retail Store Manager to join the brand new team. We have multiple roles with a variety of hours available.

**We are looking for someone with the following skills and experience**:

- Several years of retail experience in home-wares and/or furniture;
- Excellent customer service skills;
- A strong sales drive;
- Be available to attend several weeks training in our flagship store in Collaroy on Sydney's Northern Beaches for at least 2 weeks prior to your commencement in the CBD store;
- The ability to work as a part of a team and solo in the store from time to time; and

**The role will involve**:

- Management of Retail Sales Team including developing rosters, managing leave, training on stock and sales procedures, assisting in recruitment of new team members, monitoring, appraising, motivating and succession planning team members
- Overall management of the store including start and end of day procedures, cleanliness, OHS Procedures, maintaining Visual Merchandising standards, maintaining/improving stock level counts.
- Customer Focus, including providing a positive and unique customer experience, monitoring current and future customer requirements and interests by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers, dealing with customer complaints and concerns.
- Ensuring processes are followed in store to ensure sales are processed correctly and stock count is up to date.
- Working with other areas of the business to contribute to the overall commerciality of the business by leading the team to achieve all KPIs and financial targets

This is a casual position but we are looking for a Manager willing to work more than 30 hours a week across a mix of week days and weekends.
