Bring along your good natured pet and spend time chatting with people who may be frail and elderly at our residential aged care home in Miranda.
You'll see what a difference your furry friend can make.As you're bringing your pet into an care environment with frail and elderly residents, we ask that your pet is- Calm, patient and gentle in nature- Up-to-date with vaccinations and treatment of worms and fleas- Nails should be short and blunt.
Freshly cut nails can be sharp if not filed down.
- Dogs should be kept on a lead at all times.Your impactVolunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself.

Requirements National Volunteer Police Check + NDIS Worker Screening Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare.We are seeking to fill a Tuesday spot, but would be happy to discuss your availability between 9am and 4pm for one hour visits weekly or fortnightly.
