Mitti Insurance is a joint venture between SafetyCulture and QBE Insurance. This joint venture brings more value to the customer than a traditional insurer-customer relationship as it aims to improve the quality of their risk management and aligning the use of the SafetyCulture products to insurance needs.

**What you will be doing**:

- Underwrite risks in accordance with defined limits of authority, organisational policy and underwriting standards
- Monitor and review underwriting standards, procedures and variations from proposal standards
- Underwriting activities in compliance with business and regulatory requirements
- Responding to queries in a timely and professional manner in line with agreed service standards.
- Providing exceptional service to our customers through various mediums
- Compliance requirements and individual accreditation levels are maintained
- Ability to develop and maintain long term relationships.
- Coordinate and provide guidance and support to policyholders;
- Provide relevant feedback to internal and external stakeholders
- Assisting other areas of the business unit to achieve agreed targets
- The role is not authorised to provide personal financial product advice in respect of General Insurance products.

As a Development Underwriter at Mitti, you'll be reporting to Head of Sales & Underwriting.
