Overview Title: Service Technician - Mechanical Location: Kalgoorlie Pay rate: $70 - $75 per hour, plus $10 p/h site uplift Duration: Ongoing Temp - Perm opportunity FIFO / DIDO / Local: 8:6 FIFO Scope of works This role is for a Service Technician with a Mechanical trade background to perform preventative maintenance & servicing along with breakdowns on diesel generators & pump stations.
Service, maintenance, and repair of diesel generators, bores, pump stations Inspection of equipment FIFO to Kalgoorlie then attend various sites to complete jobs as required Liaise with clients regarding requirements & progress of works Complete relevant paperwork Hours for site works will vary depending on scope - approx.
11 hrs Qualifications Australian recognised Mechanical trade qualification (HV, HD, Mech Fitter) Aptitude and experience with mechanical fitting/engine maintenance Previous experience with diesel engines / diesel generators (min 2 yrs) Exposure to Mechanical Testing Worked in the mining/resources sector WA C class license (minimum) Pass medical and drug screen
