**The Opportunity**

Our Port Kembla Manufacturing facility is looking for a **Mechanical Fitter **in our **Plate Mill** team based in **Port Kembla**. As a part of the broader Australian Steel Products portfolio, we have six major manufacturing sites at Port Kembla that deliver a variety of products, innovative solutions and services to our export and domestic customers.

**What Will You Do?**
- isolate equipment and perform preventative and corrective maintenance
- inspect production and quality critical equipment and fault find
- resolve issues and fix any non-conformances
- seek ways to continuously improve our maintenance practices and strategies

**More About You**

You will be motivated and have a strong technical background with the ability to work effectively and flexibly in a team environment. You will also have:

- mechanical trade qualifications
- experience within a maintenance function
- experience working both independently and as part of a manufacturing team
- strong attention to detail with the ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently
- a commitment to your own safety and wellbeing and care for others
