**About BaptistCare Orana Centre**
Located in the beautiful Central Coast suburb of Point Clare, Orana Centre has comfortable living at its heart. It's dotted with private sitting rooms, barbeque areas, landscaped gardens and numerous courtyards for residents and their families and friends to enjoy.

Point Clare's amenities are always close at hand to residents, who come to us for a range of care services including dementia care and respite care services. Locally loved, we have been committed to serving the Central Coast community since 1973.

**About the role**
As the Lifestyle Officer, you will drive the engagement and participation of residents into a range of social, recreational and cultural activities, as well as mental health and wellbeing programs that empower our resident's choices and independence.

In planning and organising all recreational activity programs, you will ensure individual residents' needs, values, spiritual and cultural preferences are taken into account.

**This is a Permanent part time role 48 hours per fortnight**

**Skills and experience**
- You have completed Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle (or willing to complete) and experience working with people with Dementia
- Ideally have a MR License
- to take the residents on bus outings
- You hold a current NSW/ACT Drivers Licence and will be able to take clients on outings
- Senior First Aid Certificate is essential
- You have previous experience in caring for the elderly within an Aged or Community Care setting
- You have highly developed organisation and time management skills
- You have an understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes
