At Vanilla Blue, we're reimagining the typical school canteen with our inspiring, nourishing, and freshly prepared seasonal menu. We're making the canteen the heart of the school, a hub of activity serving great food enjoyed by both students and staff daily.

We're seeking a **Canteen Assistant**to join our canteen at a prestigious private school in the Manly area. This role is ideal for a cafe or canteen professional who wants school holidays off, or someone looking for a stable and rewarding job during school hours.

**Casual Position**:
1) Monday to Friday

**Shifts**:between 10am - 2.30pm; incl. 30min break

**Hours**: 20 hours per week

**Pay**: $31 per hour + super

**Open during school term**: 38 weeks per year

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Simple food presentation (counter display, non-perishable food items)
- Lunch sorting and packing
- Front-of-house service and POS usage
- Receive daily lunch deliveries, label and store appropriately
- Kitchen cleanliness and hygiene

**To be Successful**
- Previous experience in school canteens or a cafe
- Good computer literacy - proficient using Word and Excel
- Positive and energetic attitude
- Good time management and punctuality

**This role is not open for sponsorship.**

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $31.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
