Fourth Child Café & Restaurant are a family run business in the heart of Ipswich CBD. We are looking for an efficient junior dishwasher to join to come and join our team We are open 7 days a week, serving breakfast, lunch, dinner & also hosting functions.

Your primary role and responsibility will be to ensure that dishes and other kitchen equipment are washed, dried and stored hygienically and properly. You will also work closely with the kitchen staff to maintain an organized and clean workplace.

**Responsibilities**:

- Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and pans by hand and running them through the dishwasher, ensuring proper cleanliness and sanitation.
- Dry, stack, and store clean dishes and utensils in designated areas.
- Assist in cleaning and maintaining kitchen
- Empty trash containers regularly and ensure proper disposal of waste.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and floors.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient workflow and timely delivery of clean dishes.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist with other tasks as assigned by the kitchen manager and restaurant manager.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a dishwasher or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Ability to work well as part of a team and take direction from supervisors.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed within designated timeframes.
- Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation practices is a plus.

Flexibility to work weekdays and weekends is a must

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: From $20.33 per hour
