**THE POSITION**:
We are currently recruiting for disability support workers in various locations. The main focus and purpose of being a True Hero team member is to provide person centred supports to children, young people, and/or adults with disability, which enhances their quality of life and creates lifestyle solutions that are flexible and innovative and focused on the individual.

**WE ARE LOOKING FOR CANDIDATES WHO MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA**:

- Have a passion to assist people with disability and enrich their lives; having an understanding of their needs and be able to assist them to attain their goals
- Be responsive to people with complex needs
- Be an honest, reliable person, who is patient and understanding
- Have a 'can do' attitude and be able to empower individuals and respect their right to make informed decisions and choices, whilst promoting dignity, privacy and confidentiality
- Be a creative and lateral thinker; someone who can bring innovation to their role
- Have a Current Drivers Licence and reliable motor vehicle, and have a willingness to transport clients to various locations
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent (preferred)
- COVID vaccinations as per applicable state Government mandate
- NDIS worker screening clearance-
- Applicants will be required to supply a recent National police clearance that includes working with children and vulnerable persons, prior to any offer of employment being made._
