Customer Service Representative

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be part of a global team that is changing the treatment of stroke and other vascular diseases with innovative products and new technologies. You will provide front-line support for customer service and serve as an in-house resource for Australian and New Zealand customers.

**What You'll Work On**
- Provide day-to-day support to the sales team and customers
- Manage Travel Stock program, ensuring compliance with Quality System
- Manage Consignment requests and execution, ensuring compliance with all relevant legal and quality requirements
- Process Returned Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs)
- File customer complaints
- Utilize QAD to enter orders, confirm inventory availability, send customer order confirmations and develop customized defaults for each customer
- Interface with the sales department to provide accurate reports of daily sales
- Maintain excellent customer relations
- Maintain customer databases
- Inventory maintenance (including but not limited to cycle counts, receipt of incoming product, and transactions associated with dispositions)
- Packing and shipping orders to customers
- Perform quality inspections of Returned Materials including complaint devices
- Generate purchase orders for products from other Penumbra subsidiaries (HQ Crossmed, etc.)

**What You Contribute**
- A Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or a related field or related field with 2+ years of customer service experience, preferably in a medical device, pharmaceutical or comparable regulated environment experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize assignments while handling various projects simultaneously

**Working Conditions**

General office environment. Business travel from 0% - 10%. Potential exposure to blood-borne pathogens. Requires some lifting and moving of up to 25 pounds. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms, and to use a computer, sitting for extended periods. Specific vision abilities required by this job include ability to read, close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
