**Job Summary**:
This Customer Development Executive position is both a key contributor to the team and a developmental position with a view to progressing within our business. The role has the responsibility to support sales growth and provide analytical support across our customer base in the following accounts; Petbarn, Greencross Vet,Independent Pet channel and Just for Pets.

The role provides support to the Customer Development Manager including category review analysis, monthly health checks, ROI analyses, campaigns implementation requirements, field team execution and priorities.

There is a level of administration work with promotional management including promotional submissions, new product submissions, invoicing, ATLAS forecasting, ecommerce compliance,rebate calculations and support for both internal and external presentations.

**Main Responsibilities**:
**Customer Engagement**
- Submitting promotional deal sheets with selected Pet Independent accounts

Accounts category review analysis, monthly health checks Input at key meetings
- Enhancing customer relationships & negotiation
- Writing and circulating contact reports
- Volume and activity planning
- Communication of Out Of Stock and transitional sku's
- Tracking A&P and GTN spend in line with budget, contracts
- Processing loyalty claims and invoices monthly
- Collating competitive intelligence insights to assist sales analysis

**Business Development**
- Promotional planning & submissions, ATLAS forecasting and NPD/line transitions submissions
- Managing the ROI margin calculator to ensure correct funding levels
- Key analytical interpretation and highlighting opportunities
- Responsive action to make changes driven from Commercial decisions
- Communicating key account activity including pricing and competitor activity
- Preparation and communication of Campaigns - e.g. Dental, Weight, Puppy & Kitten
- Managing online content standards via Ass. Category Managers

**Analytics and Insights sharing**
- Analyse and interpret customer data to improve ROI and promotional activity
- Identify and understand key market challenges/opportunities, as well as establish a robust understanding of the competitive landscape
- Utilise tools such as Tableau to gather and analyse data and opportunities.

**Meetings / Presentations**
- Preparing and participating in account meetings
- Prepare and present at Field Meetings
- Present at internal forecasting collaboration meetings

**Required Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree qualification
- 2+ years of sales experience
- Experience collaborating with diverse teams
- Intermediate G-Suite Skills - Sheets, Docs, Slides & Data Studio

**Preferred Requirements**:

- Strong analytical skill set
- Vet and Pet industry background highly regarded
- Ability to work in a team environment, collaborating with others to meet customer needs
