About the position
Our Bar and Gaming team plays an important role in our Club operations.
Wests New Lambton currently offers a full-time opportunity for a customer-focused individual.
Our operations provide quality service to members and guests in both indoor and outdoor spaces, including designated smoking areas.
We are seeking a Gaming Attendant to join our New Lambton club team on a permanent part-time basis.
In addition to gaming attendant responsibilities, this role may involve acting as a relief Assistant Duty Manager (training provided).
Key responsibilities include:
Providing friendly customer service
Gaming machine servicing
Taking drink orders and delivering to machines
Resetting and paying out jackpot wins
Operating TAB and Keno terminals
Cleaning workstations and equipment
Operating tills and handling cash
Collecting glasses from the floor and returning them to the bar for cleaning
Assisting the Duty Management team with shift coordination
Training and mentoring team members
Promoting a positive team culture
Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation
This position requires availability on Friday nights and weekends, with reasonable availability Monday to Thursday.
Shifts are rostered from evening to early morning during peak periods.
This role is ideal for experienced candidates seeking a pathway into management.

Certifications required: RSA, RCG, TAB Basics
All candidates progressing will undergo due diligence and probity checks, including criminal history, reference checks, and right-to-work verification, facilitated by The Wests Group.
