St Francis of Assisi Catholic Primary School in Butler is seeking a qualified and caring School Nurse to join our team and support the health and wellbeing of our students.
St Francis of Assisi caters for a diverse community of over 470 children and currently employs a part-time school nurse.
The position will be a job share arrangement with the existing school nurse.
As our School Nurse, you will play a vital role in promoting a safe and healthy environment for students and staff.
You'll provide first aid, manage health plans, support students with chronic conditions, and collaborate with families and staff to ensure holistic care, building relationships with families and also connecting with external agencies.Selection Criteria The successful applicant will demonstrate an ability to meet the following criteria: Management of student health records and care plans Supporting students with medical needs, allergies, and chronic conditions Promote health education and wellbeing initiatives across the school community Liaise with parents, staff, and external health professionals Ensure compliance with school, CEWA and health policies and procedures to minimise risk and ensure compliance with governance Demonstrate high level relational abilities with staff, parents and children to promote an inclusive and supportive workplace Possess excellent collaborative communication skills Applicants are asked to provide a Curriculum Vitae and a cover letter outlining your relevant experience addressing the above selection criteria (Max 2 pages).

Qualifications Required Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration Current Working With Children Check First Aid certification, CPR Current Police Clearance Certificate Experience in paediatric or school nursing (desirable) All employees of Catholic Education Western Australia are required to support the Catholic ethos in the performance of their duties.
