Aged Care Lifestyle Coordinator

The RoleWe have an exciting and creative opportunity to join our team as a Lifestyle & Engagement Coordinator.
This full-time position reports to the General Manager and supports the care team at our Infin8 Care facility in Logan – Cornubia Aged Care.
The role is Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm, and is vital to the wellbeing of our residents, ensuring they receive engaging and personalized lifestyle programs that cater to their individual, social, and cultural needs.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, manage, and evaluate lifestyle programs for residents, managing budgets and assessing program effectiveness.Lead and guide a team of Lifestyle Assistants.Coordinate activities that address the social, religious, and cultural needs of residents, both within and outside the care home.Contribute to resident care assessments to tailor programs for optimal outcomes.Organize facility communications and celebrations such as birthdays and holidays.Maintain records of resident participation and document observations or concerns.Support the admission process for new residents and initial consultations with residents and families.Collaborate with clinical staff to incorporate therapeutic and holistic activities into daily routines.Build and maintain relationships with residents, families, staff, volunteers, and community groups.Manage risk and pursue continuous improvement initiatives.You will offerAt least 2 years of experience in a similar role.Strong stakeholder management skills with a diplomatic, compassionate approach.A positive, creative, and engaging personality.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for resident wellbeing.Empathy and a commitment to enhancing care quality and social environments.Innovative program development tailored to resident needs.Leadership skills to motivate and guide a team.Strong organizational and time management skills.Proficiency in computer systems.Certificate III in Leisure and Lifestyle, Health, Diversional Therapy, or similar qualification.Valid NDIS Workers Screening Clearance or ability to obtain one.Benefits - Why work for us?
