**What this opportunity involves**:
We are looking for a motivated and driven Procurement professional to join us as our Procurement and Compliance Manager.
Reporting to the Head of Engineering and Operations Solutions, you will be a senior and vital member of the team. You will be involved in development and implementation of strategic and operational procurement for goods and services, implementing best practice processes and solutions and strategic oversight of the risk and compliance services across the Property Asset Management (PAM) business in Victoria.
The PAM Victoria business supports a large portfolio of commercial, retail and industrial properties.
**Key operational responsibilities**:
Establish, lead and execute category plans, strategies and frameworks, including market approaches, procurement analysis, supplier development and evaluation, to meet Clients' needs and expectations
Presents sourcing project outcomes and key recommendations to stakeholders and decision-makers
Develop an understanding of the business environment in which JLL operates, understands its goals and how Procurement activities help achieve organisational outcomes
Utilise stakeholder input and feedback and promote continued engagement throughout the tendering and sourcing process.
Supports efforts to improve supply chain efficiency, maintain service and product quality standards, and reduce costs.
Identify and evaluate new market trends, dynamics and opportunities, to deliver market strategies and procurement decisions that meets JLL and Client needs.
Provide advice to key stakeholders and Clients on all aspects of the procurement category strategy, to encourage innovative practices and support delivery of business outcome.
Establish and enhance stakeholder and Client engagement to ensure that sourcing strategies meet JLL and the Client needs
Deliver multiple key strategic items in a fast-paced environment
Develop optimal sourcing strategies to achieve consistent, quality outcomes for the category, given the diverse needs of Clients.
Conduct negotiations on critical, complex supply arrangements and manage contract negotiations to deliver favourable category outcomes.
Report on procurement activity in terms of progress, results, Client satisfaction, value and cost.
Accountability for incident management & reporting procedures across the portfolio; ensuring thorough investigation of critical incidents to mitigate future risk and alignment with the clients reporting obligations to internal and external regulator.
Responsibility for the implementation & management of the internal audit regime to demonstrate compliance with the agreed risk management program.
Tertiary education in Business, Commerce or related disciplines is highly desirable
Proven experience (3-5 years) in procurement, compliance, facilities and/or operations management
Sound exposure to procurement principles with knowledge of general procurement services and practices and/or facilities management experience will be highly regarded
Experience managing procurement activities for multiple clients
Flexible to changing situations and ability to deal with ambiguity
A self-starter with ability to prioritise work within tight deadlines
Sound communication and interpersonal skills to liaise and build relationships with a diverse range
