Your New Role And Responsibilities
Working with the Program Manager/Product Owner, Lead Architect (Platform) and Technical Solutions Lead, this role is at the forefront of agile ways of working and aligns with a traditional delivery methodology. The role is central to a new multi-year program to deliver an enterprise-wide platform, enabling future capabilities and the embedding of new standards within the existing ecosystem.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage end-to-end Agile project delivery, including planning, backlog refinement, sprint management, scope, dependencies, risks, and milestone tracking across cross-functional teams.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies and workshops, support the Product Owner in defining goals, refining backlogs, and engaging key stakeholders.
Coach and guide teams towards self-organisation, collaboration, and continuous improvement, fostering a high-performing delivery culture.
Align traditional delivery methods with Agile ways of working, driving cultural adoption through education, influence, and stakeholder collaboration.
Prepare and deliver executive updates and progress reports (e.g., sprint burn-downs, risks, issues, and achievements) and proactively remove delivery obstacles.
About You
Proven experience delivering enterprise programs and projects in dynamic, fast-paced environments, with the ability to take accountability and work autonomously on complex tasks.
Advanced proficiency configuring and maintaining Agile tools such as Azure DevOps, along with other agency-provided software.
Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks and methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean), plus Design Thinking and Human-Centred Design principles.
Skilled communicator and facilitator with the ability to energise teams, build relationships, and manage stakeholders through negotiation and collaboration.
Strategic and critical thinker with leadership capabilities, able to operate under pressure and in ambiguity, with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
This role requires Australian Citizenship and a Baseline security clearance.
