The Education Manager position is accountable for the provision of quality, operational support and leadership through the focus and development of strategies and programs that promote the Institute's Educational Excellence Framework.

This position directly supports the Manager of Allied Health in managing and leading the implementation of educational excellence, business growth and opportunities that enhance Chisholm's reputation and meets industry and community needs in the course areas as designated.
- Lead and manage teachers, including supervision, performance, professional and vocational currency and development requirements.
- Coordinate and delegate tasks to the team to deliver operational outcomes including Teacher Performance, timetabling, resource allocation, teacher loads and student progress for of the Chisholm Aged Care and Disability courses.
- Coordinate students' needs including managing student wellbeing responses and responding to feedback/issues through delegation.
- Ensure high quality and current resources, teaching materials and assessments are used in teaching and learning activities meeting all regulatory standards, training packages and related requirements.
- Lead the design, development, delivery and evaluation of innovative, customised, high quality vocational education and training responses for identified students and clients.
- Engage with Aged Care and Disability employers and industry representatives to ensure teaching materials and content remain aligned with current industry standards, technologies, and employer needs.
- Foster and support strategic partnerships with key stakeholders in Aged Care and Disability sectors to continuously renew and enhance educational delivery methods and best practices.
- Contribute to business development initiatives focused on Aged Care and Disability, including preparing tenders and submissions that support business expansion and meet Chisholm's fee-for-service objectives.
- Maintain a respectful, and safe environment free from discrimination, bullying and harassment.

**ABOUT YOU**

You are a highly motivated individual with well-developed skills in transferring knowledge, including the ability to research, select and use a wide range of learning resources and assessment tools.

**Qualifications required for the role**
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) or qualifications that meet the Standards for RTOs 2015
- Adult Teaching qualification at AQF 6 level or higher (or ability to complete)
- Registration with relevant professional bodies as required for the teaching discipline.
