Job Requirements
About the role:
Reporting to the National Sales Manager and working closely with the national team, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of brands within the Coles account. In this dynamic, fast paced role you will have ownership of the development of business plans, P&L management, joint business planning, range and category reviews and will collaborate with the wider team on developing robust category strategies to drive growth.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and maintain strategic business relationships to achieve and exceed sales and profit targets.
- Plan and manage the execution of promotional, trade and new launch plans.
- Negotiate joint business plans to optimise trade spend and maximise sales.
- Analyse and report on sales performance and promotional effectiveness.
- Monitor and report on industry, market, and competitor activity.
- Full P&L management and responsibility.
- Budget and forecasting management and responsibility.
- Account administration, including management of vendor claims and rebates.
- Build strong relationships with all stakeholders - both internal and external.
- Travel interstate regularly for face-to-face meetings, where practicable.
About you:
- You are a self-starter, with a track record of success managing accounts within FMCG.
- Your commercial acumen and strategic mindset are what set you apart from others.
- You're a brilliant communicator and can negotiate with strategic customers to deliver positive business
outcomes.
To be considered for this role you must have/need the following:
- Minimum 2 years FMCG or Liquor experience in a similar role
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
