Are you passionate about agriculture and looking for an exciting role in a thriving family-owned agri-business? McLean Farms, located just 30 minutes southwest of Toowoomba in Pittsworth, is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Hand to become an integral part of our Poultry team.

**About Us**:
McLean Farms is a diversified, family-owned agri-business renowned for our excellence in livestock and food production. Our operations span a wide range of agricultural enterprises, including grain, compost, and feed mill operations. We are committed to fostering a collaborative and innovative working environment that aligns with our values and culture.

**Daily duties include, but are not limited to**:

- Conducting regular preventive maintenance inspections to identify wear and tear.
- Attending to breakdowns and assisting with general repairs.
- Performing regular inspections and assessments of farm facilities, equipment, and infrastructure to ensure they meet safety and regulatory requirements.
- Conducting pre-start checks on farm equipment.
- Documenting maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment servicing.
- Cleaning and disinfecting maintenance equipment and facilities to maintain good hygiene.
- Performing minor repairs, adjustments, and replacements on farm machinery, feeding systems, ventilation equipment, and other tools to prevent breakdowns and disruptions to operations.
- Monitoring and maintaining strict adherence to animal welfare standards and biosecurity protocols.

**What We're Looking For**:
We are looking for a proactive and dedicated professional who brings:

- Previous experience in a maintenance role (highly advantageous).
- Organisational and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in record-keeping and data analysis for farm management purposes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with staff, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- The ability to work autonomously.

You may be required to work reasonable overtime to meet operational demands. You must be able to work weekends and public holidays as per a rotating roster.
