Learning Support Officer

The School is seeking to appoint two exceptional and highly relational Learning Support Officers to join our dedicated team of educators.
The successful candidate will have experience in supporting students across Years 7-12.
As key members of the Learning Support team, the Learning Support Officer will assist student learning by working collaboratively with teachers to develop and implement strategies to support students in a range of subject disciplines.
The position is being offered as a part-time FTE 0.80, fixed-term for 2026, to commence at the beginning of the 2026 academic year.
This position will suit candidates with proven learning support (or similar learning support) experience.
The successful candidates will have the ability to build effective learning environments by working with teachers to support a differentiated curriculum that meets varying learning styles and provides individualised or small group instruction.
The successful candidate will possess a high degree of care for young people, be effective communicators with strong literacy and numeracy skills to support student learning and development.
They will demonstrate a mature approach with empathy towards the needs of students, whilst engaging and inspiring them to achieve their best results in a warm, caring and safe environment.
