This apprenticeship provides a combination of on-the-job work experience and attendance at TAFE completing a Certificate III in Arboriculture (Elevated Work Platform – EWP Arborist), which when combined gives you a competitive advantage for future professional roles.The position involves assisting in the daily operation of pruning/removing trees using sound arboriculture techniques, and using and maintaining a large tree chipper upon completion of appropriate training.We are looking for two professionals to join our team on a term contract, full-time basis for up to 3 years, commencing January 2026.
You will be attending TAFE and receiving on-the-job training, working alongside professionals in the industry.Who Can ApplyApplicants must be minimum 15 years of age or olderNo longer at school or home-schooledIf currently enrolled in school or home-schooled must:Have completed year 9 or equivalentProvide written approval to proceed from either a school principal or NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) or an authorised person acting in lieu of a school principalNo experience requiredAbility to obtain a class C driver's licence when able toApplicants must be an Australian citizen or be eligible to work in Australia (evidence required).
