Job Title: Cyber Security Engineer Specialist
Job Overview
Cyber security engineers play a vital role in safeguarding an organization's digital assets and data. As a specialist, you will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing security events across cloud and on-premises environments with a focus on Microsoft Sentinel.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct real-time threat analysis to identify and respond to potential security breaches
Analyze log data from various security tools to detect and investigate threats
Develop and implement custom security solutions using KQL and Logic Apps
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective incident response and mitigation strategies
Ongoing training and development of skills in emerging technologies and best practices in the field
This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Requirements
We are seeking highly motivated and experienced cyber security professionals who possess a deep understanding of Microsoft Sentinel and related security solutions. Key qualifications include:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior-level security engineering role
Expertise in KQL, Logic Apps, and other relevant Microsoft security tools
Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional teams and implementing security solutions
Prior experience with Microsoft Defender technologies is highly desirable.
