This is a part-time position (23 hours per week) with flexible start and finish times to suit your schedule.In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:Follow established procedures to receive, handle, store, perform system transactions, and dispatch goods in a factory or warehouse.Check incoming goods for damage and discrepancies.Accurately sort, label, store goods, and optimize warehouse space.Pick, pack, and dispatch outgoing goods as per requests.Operate forklifts or other warehouse machinery.Maintain a clean and orderly work area.Report any major injury hazards and work-related incidents.Comply with Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) standards and use appropriate personal protective equipment.Engage in HSE training and promote safety.Follow standard work procedures and perform quality checks.Identify and control non-conforming material.Communicate effectively with team members and participate in training and improvement activities.Perform miscellaneous duties to meet business goals.ResponsibilitiesTo be successful in this role you will need the following:Forklift license will be required post employmentWA Driver's LicenceIntermediate computer skills (MS Office – intermediate Excel) and can learn new systems and processes quicklyPrevious warehousing/stores experience preferred but not essential – on the job training available to suitable applicantsPrevious experience in a customer facing role as part of a team would be beneficial Ability to work unsupervised and commit to undertaking all work safely and efficientlyIntermediate computer skills (MS Office – intermediate Excel) and can learn new systems and processes quicklyQualificationsJob LogisticsOrganization Cummins Inc.Role Category On-siteJob Type ShopReqID 2413390Relocation Package Yes
