We're on the lookout for a motivated and creative Graphic Design Assistant to help bring iconic leagues like the NBA, NFL, MLB and AFL (to name a few) to life from the stadium to the streets.This is your chance to step into the world of licensed sportswear, learn from an experienced crew of designers, and create work that fans actually wear.Your New RoleAs our Graphic Design Assistant, you'll be a key support for our graphics team, helping to bring seasonal collections to life across some of the biggest global sporting brands.
From managing CAD libraries and sample organisation to creating spec packs and supporting on artwork creation, you'll be hands-on from day one, building your skills and learning the ropes of apparel design in a fast-paced commercial setting.Day-to-day you'll be:Supporting the design team with tasks throughout the seasonCreating graphic specification packs aligned to critical path timelinesManaging centralised CAD libraries and development samplesAssisting with technical packs and portal uploads for league approvalsSupporting with timely and accurate delivery of graphic artwork to QAEnsuring all art created meets copyright/IP requirementsTracking your development progress and supporting milestone deadlinesCompleting monthly graphic market sweep documentsStaying up to date on competitor activity and design trendsJumping in on ad hoc design tasks as neededYou'll thrive in this role if you are:A recent graduate or early career designer with a tertiary qualification in graphic or textile designConfident with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator and PhotoshopSomeone with a folio that shows commercial flair and an eye for trend-led graphic design (ideally with some apparel but not essential)Organised, detail-oriented and able to juggle tasks in a fast-paced environmentA clear communicator and team player who takes feedback and runs with itNaturally curious and keen to learn the ins and outs of licensed product designExcited by sports, streetwear and the crossover between fand and fashion (not essential)Resilient, adaptable and ready to growWhy NAR?
