We're looking for people who are ready to bring energy, commitment, and a love of animals to our team.We'll review EOIs on an ongoing basis; shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete a video interview and from there, we'll be in touch as vacancies arise at our Sydney locations to discuss next steps.The ideal candidate will be available to work flexible hours between 6.30am-6.30pm, Monday through Friday, with the ability to adapt to a variety of shifts and schedules.
Availability to work mid-week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) is preferred.What are the responsibilities of the role?
Supervising groups of dogs and managing their behaviours to maintain overall wellbeing and safetyProviding canine enrichment through play and scheduled activitiesImplementing daily leadership and training activitiesFrequent cleaning and upkeep of facilityBuilding and maintaining rapport with our dog owners through daily feedback and transparencyCreating and distributing media content for our dog owners through videos and photosDaily administration such as answering enquiries through email and phone, record keeping of dog behaviours, preparing documents for dog ownersWhat are the minimum requirements?
Available to attend a lawful unpaid work trial shift (operated within The Fair Work Ombudsman guidelines)Confident to physically handle larger dog breedsHigh level of communication and empathetic in natureAble to work long days, on your feet, in a high pressure environmentA passion for, strong desire to learn, or aspiration to continue your development with canine behaviour and trainingComfortable with computer systems (emails, booking platform) and phone applications (using social media, filming and editing basic video content)Why Kip Happy Stays?
