Position Title: Allied Health Pre and Post-Surgical Coordinator (Exercise Physiologist or Physiotherapist)
Classification: Grade 3 Exercise Physiologist or Physiotherapist
Salary per hour (exc. super): dependant on qualification

**Role Description**

Grade 3 Clinicians at Bendigo Health are an integral part of the health care service team, providing leadership and direction to a dedicated staffing group. A Grade 3 Clinician at Bendigo Health should have, or aspire, to, the personal qualities, knowledge and skills as described in the Bendigo Health Staff Capabilities.

The purpose of the Allied Health Pre and Post-Surgical Coordinator position is to:

- Provide clinical leadership to, and enhance the capacity of, the allied health service in the Bendigo Health surgical reform project, working on improving outcomes pre and post rehabilitation.
- Provide a clinical service to the pre and post-surgical patients at a senior clinician level.
- Work with key stakeholders to develop program structure and identify key tasks.
- Provide support to the pre and post-surgical project allied health staff in relation to assisting with allied health service planning, co-ordination and development.
- Act as a central point of contact between clinicians, leadership and management of the allied health staff group involved in the pre and post-surgical services.
