Information Security Engineer

Global client requires a permanent Information Security Engineer to ensure systems and processes comply to security policies and that security incidents are detected and managed.Based in the Operations team, the successful candidate will be required to:Maintain all required security audit records and prepare these for audit processesLead investigations into local security incidents.Ensure local security systems are effectively configured to detect and block threats.Ensure vulnerability management is performed as per requirements.Review requests for change from security perspective and provide adviceAssist in developing and maintaining standard operating procedures for the local systems to ensure they comply with security policies.Required skills & experience:Australian Citizenship required to attain Baseline ClearanceA minimum of 3 years+ industry experience in an information security functionSolid technical knowledge of current IT security systems, practises and standardsExperience in using SIEM, vulnerability management tools, intrusion detection and other security systems.Excellent documentation and communications skills are essential.Knowledge in information security and cyber security standards, frameworks, and code of practices such as ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 27002, NIST Cyber Security Framework, etc.Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or CISM - Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) will be well regardedDavid StretchDivisional Director, ExperisManpowerGroup is committed to being a Diversity Confident Recruiter and encourages applications from people from a diverse range of backgrounds, including people with a disability.
