About the Role
The RTW Coordinator is an integral member of the Injury Management & Wellbeing Team. The primary purpose of the role is to provide remain at / return to work support to operational leaders and injured workers to improve return to work outcomes. The RTW Coordinator is also responsible for ensuring Baptcare complies with legal return to work obligations and Baptcare's policies/procedures.
The RTW Coordinator also implements early intervention program and workers compensation claims administration processes including, but not limited to maintaining records in the injury management database (SOLV), workers compensation claim lodgements, processing weekly payments, interacting with key stakeholders, and claim re-imbursement processes.
**Key Duties**:
Manage a return-to-work Early Intervention (pre-claim) and workers compensation portfolio in accordance with legislative and business requirements.
Assist in the completion of administrative tasks, associated with the early intervention, and workers compensation tasks, in accordance with legislative requirements, and Baptcare's policies and procedures. This includes but is not limited to:
Return-to-Work planning, consultation, and preparation.
Maintaining records with the injury management system (SOLV).
Invoice and employee reimbursement processing.
Claims administration (claim lodgement, weekly payments, claim re-imbursements).
Provide advice to operations and injured workers in accordance with Baptcare's policies and procedures.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of all injury management, workers compensation and wellbeing services across the enterprise - this includes Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania.
Assist the Injury Management & Wellbeing Team in other reasonable tasks as directed by the Injury Management and Wellbeing Manager.
Return to Work Strategies are clear and maintained across the early intervention and workers compensation claim portfolios.
Return to Work Plans are consistent with Baptcare policies/procedures, current and in place.
Early intervention and claim administration activities are completed in a timely manner and in accordance with Baptcare's policies and procedures, including but not limited to:
Claim lodgement.
RTW planning and consultation.
Invoice processing.
Weekly payments processing.
Claim reimbursement process.
**About You**:
Experience in building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong administrative and/or return-to-work coordinator experience within the Victorian jurisdiction.
Self-driven, team player.
Relevant experience in a RTW Coordinator and/or business administrative role.
Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
Strong administrative skills and attention to detail.
Based in Melbourne and ability to attend the head office in Camberwell for minimum number of days per Baptcare's Flexible Work guidelines and travel to sites as required.
Experience in the Victorian workers compensation jurisdictions is desirable but not essential.
RTW Coordinator qualification in Victoria is desirable but not essential.
