Located on the very edge of Sydney Harbour with front-row seats to the world-famous Opera House, our luxurious harborside residence is unmistakably Australian.We are looking for an energetic and passionate Assistant Manager to run our Laundry/Uniform team who make a difference in the day-to-day operations of the department.About the Role:Manage and assist the Executive Housekeeper in the day-to-day running of the Laundry/Uniform DepartmentImplement personal development programs with the teamWork effectively in a dynamic team environmentExhibit exceptional interpersonal, communication, and time management skillsTake a hands-on role during busy periods within the departmentWork on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidaysAssist in creating fortnightly rosters and managing payroll within the department Qualifications Relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism Management preferredMinimum 2 years of experience as an Assistant Manager in Laundry/Uniform or similar roleStrong communication and team management skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and administrative computer skillsExperience in Laundry operations is desirableMust hold an unrestricted working Visa for AustraliaWorking at Park Hyatt Sydney includes:Employee benefits such as complimentary shift meals, discounts for Spa and Food & Beverage outletsAccess to complimentary and discounted Hyatt accommodation worldwideParticipation in internationally recognized learning and development programsEmployee assistance programs and paid family leave benefitsBeing part of a diverse and inclusive team passionate about their workA career with Hyatt offers a world of opportunities.
