Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled professional to take on the role of Cloud Architect. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and developing cloud-based systems, data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.
Main Responsibilities
Work closely with stakeholders to determine user requirements and develop technical documents for products, applications, services, or platforms.
Create, implement, optimize, debug, refactor, and reuse code to enhance performance, maintainability, effectiveness, and ROI.
Develop testable code and advocate for quality throughout the development process, from design to deployment and monitoring.
Leverage subject-matter expertise and partner with stakeholders to drive project and release plans.
Act as a technical lead guiding other engineers, developing playbooks, monitoring services, and initiating recovery actions as needed.
Participate in a 'Follow the Sun' support model working with engineers in different locations to ensure continuous coverage.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and 4+ years of experience in engineering roles such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, or equivalent experience.
Preferred: Bachelor's Degree and 8+ years of experience, or Master's Degree and 6+ years of experience in similar roles.
Minimum 2 years experience with workload/container orchestration using Kubernetes or similar platforms.
Minimum 1 year experience with container runtimes like Docker, Rkt, runC, and related OS components.
