**About Us**:
Cuvai is a vibrant, family-owned Sri Lankan restaurant in Bella Vista. We bring bold flavours, warm hospitality, and a culturally rich dining experience to our guests. We're looking for a reliable and energetic front-of-house team member to join our growing team.

**About the Role**:
We're looking for someone confident and capable of **managing the front-of-house independently** during their shifts. This is a customer-facing role with responsibility across **table service, order taking, bar service**, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Greet and seat customers with warmth and professionalism
- Take food and drink orders accurately using POS system
- Handle dine-in and takeaway orders
- Serve food and beverages to tables
- Attend to customer needs and provide recommendations
- Prepare and serve alcoholic beverages (RSA required)
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of front-of-house and bar
- Manage EFTPOS and cash payments
- Be a reliable presence during rostered shifts

**Requirements**:

- Minimum **6 months** experience in a front-of-house or waiter role
- **RSA Certification** (required to serve alcohol)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and confidently
- Must be available for **fixed, regular shifts** (weekends included)
- Friendly, professional, and adaptable under pressure

**Preferred**:

- Experience working in a busy restaurant or café
- Familiarity with Sri Lankan cuisine (not required but a bonus)
- Ability to handle barista duties or cocktail preparation (training provided if needed)

Pay: $24.10 - $30.00 per hour
