The diverse and talented staff in the Centre for Learning and Teaching (CLT) play a central role in achieving ECU's vision, and in designing and implementing future-oriented teaching and learning strategies. With its base at the Joondalup Campus, the CLT delivers a comprehensive suite of services and programmes on campus and online that promotes high quality learning and teaching outcomes for students and academic staff. CLT is driven by ECU's commitment to inclusion through supporting students of all ages, genders, sexual orientation, cultural backgrounds, people with disability, people who are neurodivergent, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to be successful in their studies.
The Role
The CLT is seeking an Inclusive Employability Officer to join the Employability and Graduate Outcomes Project. They will be highly organised, demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
The role will work across the Employability and Student Transitions and Employability teams to identify, develop, and lead implementation of ideas, strategies, initiatives that will work to ensure Edith Cowan University is recognised as a leader in student equity and inclusion in university education and employability. The role supports the work of the Employability Team and its associated stakeholders, including the Student Transitions and Employability team and Access and Equity team.
**Key criteria**:
Tertiary qualification in a relevant area with relevant work experience or equivalent level of expertise gained from a combination of experience, training or professional accreditation.
Knowledge of inclusive practices with demonstrated experience working collaboratively with diverse communities to develop and deliver high quality resources that support individuals, with proven ability to identify and analyse required information to resolve complex problems.
Strong organisational skills including a demonstrated ability to independently coordinate multiple processes, prioritise tasks, and work effectively and efficiently to deadlines and within relevant policies, procedures and guidelines.
Experience developing high quality inclusive resources, guidelines, templates, and content to support actionable academic outcomes for student, academic and industry stakeholders.
Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a diverse range of people, and with ability to build rapport and form positive working relationships.
Ability to influence the decisions, actions or perceptions of others and to be straight forward and honest when doing so. To create networks which foster a complementary mix of knowledge, skills and abilities, in order to achieve goals and to add mutual benefit and value to the university.
Relevant experience in the higher education sector and/or knowledge of working with an academic environment is highly desirable.

Benefits & Remuneration
This full-time ongoing position attracts remuneration of $93,378 to $104,628 pa plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
