**The Opportunity**: We are seeking our next amazing Carer for our beautifully maintained, light filled Care home in picturesque New Farm.

Bupa New Farm is a charming care home situated in an inner suburb of Brisbane. Our home is close to the beautiful Brisbane River and Brisbane CBD with transport links nearby. It consists of 86 beds, a with various care units such as dementia, respite, and palliative. Our primary goal is placing our focus on the health, lifestyle and well-being of our residents.

**About the Role**

As a Personal Carer, your days will be spent supporting our beloved residents with their daily living requirements, making a positive impact to the lives of our residents with your compassionate and supportive approach. You will deliver the highest quality person-first care to residents in line with their individual care plan.

**Duties**
- Provide personal care assistance with daily living
- Assist with the delivery and administration of medication
- Mobility assistance in accordance with resident care plans
- Maintain accurate health care documentation as required
- Encourage all residents to participate in scheduled social activities
- Build relationships with our residents and their families
- Adhere to workplace health and safety guidelines and policies

**Skills and Experience**
- Minimum of a Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability or equivalent, with relevant aged care experience. If you're not currently qualified but would like to be, let us know and we can help you get there
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a great team
- Effective communication skills
- verbal and written
- Flexible availability for a variety of shifts throughout the week

As part of Bupa's Recruitment Process, all applicants are required to undergo mandatory pre-employment background checks. You must have Australian working rights and a National Police Clearance.

This is part of compliance and needs to be completed prior to commencement - successful applicants will have this cost reimbursed upon commencement.
