Supportive team with expert mentoring and development opportunities.Your RoleInstallation & Setup (Primary Focus)Lead the installation and configuration of machine control systems on heavy equipment.Read and interpret wiring diagrams, installation manuals, and calibration procedures.Work alongside junior technicians to troubleshoot and test system functionality.Follow all workplace safety protocols and ensure proper Job Safety Analysis (JSA) compliance.Technical Support & TroubleshootingProvide first-level technical support to customers under guidance from senior team members.Diagnosing and resolving basic hardware and software issues.Document common issues and contribute to knowledge-sharing within the team.Customer Training & AssistanceExplain machine control functionality to customers.On-site operator training.Strong communication skills to provide clear guidance and support to end-users.Inventory & AdministrationAssist in managing machine control system stock and spare parts.Maintain installation records, system configurations, and customer support logs.What We're Looking ForPassion for machine control, GNSS, surveying, or construction technology.Strong technical aptitude with a willingness to continue to learn electronic and mechanical systems.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and customer service skills.Ability to work on-site (travel required).
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Valid driver's licence (required for fieldwork).
Qualifications & ExperienceIt is essential that you have a relevant experience and qualifications.Any background in electrical, mechanical, or automation technology
Preferred Qualifications (any one of the below):Certificate IV in Surveying and Spatial Information ServicesCertificate III in Engineering – Mechanical TradeCertificate III in Instrumentation and ControlKey Performance Indicators (KPIs) Successful leadership of installations without supervision.
Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
Customer satisfaction with training and support.
