OverviewFood Service Assistant at Ramsay Health Care – Mt Wilga Private Hospital.

Applications close: 4 October 2025.ResponsibilitiesTake meal orders, prepare patient food trays, beverages and basic food preparation.Prepare meals according to dietary needs as directed by the relevant Manager.Maintain cleanliness within the department in line with food safety, infection control and hospital standards.Provide high standards of quality and service to customers and patients.Report to the Food Services Manager and work closely with the Food Services team.Qualifications and SkillsHigh attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Excellent time management and the ability to prioritise tasks; works well in a team or independently as required.Previous experience in a prep kitchen or hospital environment is highly desirable.Understanding of food safety and hygiene principles; compliance with HACCP, Food Safety and Workplace Health and Safety.Certificate III in Health Support Services and Food Handling Certificate are highly desirable.Knowledge of food allergies and special diets is helpful.Ability to work morning, afternoon, weekend and public holiday shifts.What's in it for you?
