With a footprint on a global basis this original equipment manufacturer offers;- A wide range of OEM training, with a dedicated in-house OEM trainer Career progression opportunities across the branch, into field service or the rebuild team Opportunities to transfer to other branch location in Australia or overseas The role Reporting into the Leading Hand on your crew and working in a team of 8 workshop technicians, you will enjoy working on brand new equipment in a Pre-Delivery Technician capacity.
Your duties will include;- Working on a range of tasks preparing new machines to head out to site Enjoy working on brand new equipment that's arrives at the workshop fully assembled Installing equipment, machinery additions and addons, component changeouts You'll also be required to work on site commissioning on an ad hoc basis (not regularly) In addition, you may be involved in the rebuild team from time to time The hours, roster and overtime Standard hours are 38-hour weeks (no weekend work required) Monday - Thursday 6.00am - 2.30pm Friday - 6.00am - 12.00pm Overtime is regularly available with 10 hour days often on offer Your skills and experience You'll come to the role with a mechanical trade qualification, however what will make you excel in this role is your attitude towards work and the desire to forward your skills in an environment where quality, workmanship and safety is paramount.
