About the Role
The Maintenance Planner is responsible for developing and managing maintenance plans for the facility, with a focus on enhancing the reliability and performance of equipment maintained by the Engineering department. This role is key to both implementing new maintenance strategies and improving existing ones to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimal downtime.
What You'll Be Doing
Oversee maintenance of all equipment and facilities, ensuring schedules align with budgets and resources
Implement and monitor safety programs, ensuring compliance and reporting performance
Develop, implement, and improve the computerized maintenance management system (e.g., MEX)
Maintain accurate data on asset history, specifications, procurement, and spare parts inventory
Plan and schedule maintenance activities, manage lead times, and update engineering documentation
Promote a safe workplace by adhering to WH&S policies and supporting return-to-work programs
The successful applicant will possess the following skills
Minimum 4 yrs Planning experience and/or minimum 3 yrs Technical Records experience
Knowledge of Maintenance programs
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel etc, as well as strong analytical and organisation skills
Possess strong interpersonal skills, as well as critical thinking problem solving skills, etc.
Strong leadership, motivational skills and the ability to direct multiple projects
