Project Officer - Waste and Recycling
- Contract role - immediate start
- $50 -$55p/h plus super

Public Sector People are currently recruiting a Project Officer role in Waste and Recycling for a council based in Melbourne's CBD.

The Project Officer Waste and Recycling Hubs assists the Project Manager Waste and Recycling Hubs to deliver new communal waste and recycling hub facilities across the central city. To improve waste management practices, related outcomes and amenity across the central city.

This is a two month contract and a good opportunity to get foot in the door in a progressive local council.

**Key Responsibilities and Duties**
- Assist with the tasks and administration of the rollout of new garbage and recycling hub program
- Draft and review communications and community engagement materials.
- Draft, collate and review documents for consultants, procurement and site information/plans.

**Selection Criteria**
- Degree or Diploma in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science or related field with some relevant experience OR less formal qualifications with substantial relevant experience.
- Sound oral and written communication skills.
