Position Details
Education Assistant (Year 2) St Thomas More Catholic Primary School is a single-stream regional school catering for about 215 students from Pre-Kindy to Year 6.
We are seeking a qualified dynamic and highly skilled Education Assistant to work in our Year Two classroom.
Applicants need to demonstrate a good understanding of working with children and are willing to work collaboratively as part of a positive and energetic team dedicated to the development of the whole child within the ethos of Catholic Education.
This Temporary Part-time position will be required to work each day finishing at 2:30pm each day.
Selection Criteria

• display a committed and enthusiastic approach to working with children, with the ability to develop positive and constructive relationships.

• work positively with teacher direction, as part of a dedicated, collaborative and enthusiastic team.

• possess good time management skills.

• exhibit a friendly, open and approachable manner and be supportive of the Catholic Ethos in the performance of their duties.
Qualifications Required

• Minimum Certificate III.
