Job Description:
Role is based in Dural, Sydney – with a mix of Onsite/Field Service work servicing customers in Sydney, Greater Sydney Area, Regional New South Wales and occasional Interstate travel.
Overseas training is a possibility.
Reporting to Senior Technical Engineer.
This role requires the candidate todivide working time 75% on Software and 25% on Hardware Technical Support.
Provide on-site setup and installation of allCard Printers, Digital Identity and Software.
This includes working with the customer regarding pre-installation requirements as well as assisting the customer in unloading all components for the card print system and positioning it in the customer's facility.
Initial and on-going formal customer operator and Card Printer maintenance training.
This includes coordination training with US US-based supplier and working with Senior Technical Engineer.
Customer training also includes assessing customer training needs and making recommendations to US-based supplier regarding the need for additional training.
Provide detailed technical feedback during weekly team meetings with Senior Technical Engineer, andafter each customer visit, as required.
Role is a mixture of in-house remote support and onsite service work.
We use Zen Desk Ticketing System for customer technical customer queries.
Be able to learn new skills and new product knowledge as they become available.
You are the face of our company when you visit customers you must have the ability to effectively communicate, represent and assist our customers in all capacity, patiently and with a friendly attitude.
Customer satisfaction and positive customer experience is the single most important part of this position.
Job Requirements:
Uni/TAFE qualifications in Software Engineering / Networking skills or equivalent preferred.
Post-graduate with Software/IT knowledge would be ideal for this role.
Mid-level IT competency is important to succeed in this role
Previous experience/knowledge of Software Helpdesk experience
Knowledge of Card Printer Industry, Digital Identity and Cloud Software knowledge is an advantage but not mandatory.Must be a quick learner with a desire for continual learning.
Cloud Solution & Software Helpdesk skills are highly desirable.
Willingness to travel local (throughout NSW),interstate and overseas.
Demonstrated customer communication skills, strong commitment to customer satisfaction is a must
Demonstrate ability to independently manage your workload (includes effective management of assets i.e. parts, tools, company information)
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot software, electrical and mechanical problems to a component level.
Demonstrated ability to provide telephone technical software support and to effectively communicate (via telephone and email) withProduct Service Engineers (Hardware and Applications).
Excellent Professional English (written and verbal) and Oral Communication are an absolute essential.
