We are currently seeking a passionate, enthusiastic kitchen hand to join our team at Anne Sgro Children's Centre & Kindergarten.

**Job Summary**:
The position is a kitchen hand, working alongside a cook in a childcare setting to cater to approx 82 children. The role will require you to maintain general kitchen operations within our food safety plan; such as cleaning, dishes, rotation of stock, storing food, and also assisting the cook in the preparation of food, basic cooking, and someone who is able to step up into the role of a cook when the main cook is away. The role also assists in the delivery of operational service and quality to our children and families whilst supporting other team members.

**Schedule**:Part-time position working Monday - Friday 11.30 am-4.30 pm, a total of 25 hours per week.

**We are looking for someone who has**:

- Approved Food Handling/Food Safety Certificates.
- Approx 1 year of work experience working in a kitchen setting including allergy awareness.
- Working with Children Check & National Police Check.
- Ability to interact and engage with children and families.
- Experience in working as a team and a can-do attitude.
- A professional attitude.
- An eye for detail ensuring cleanliness and hygiene is key.
