About the CompanyCorrosion Control Engineering (A member of the Eptec Group) is Australasia's largest corrosion prevention engineering company, utilising cathodic protection and material selection to protect buried or immersed metallic structures from corrosion.CCE specialise in the use of cathodic protection to safeguard buried or immersed steel structures from corrosion including pipelines, wharves, jetties, storage tanks, and offshore assets.We are looking for a Junior Corrosion Technician to join CCE's New South Wales team based out of our Regents Park Office.While experience in this space is highly regarded, it's not essential.
We welcome individuals with a strong background in cathodic protection or related fields who are eager to learn and grow with us.On offer to the candidate:Permanent full-time positionMobile phone and laptop computerOpportunity to advance within the companyAn excellent working cultureTravel opportunities to work on diverse projectsOn-site parkingAccess to company funded Employee Assistance ProgramTechnician Responsibilities include:Conduct field audits, pipeline surveys (DCVG/CIPS), routine testing, installation, and routine maintenanceCommission cathodic protection systemsTroubleshoot and diagnose issues and implement necessary repairs and improvementsKeep accurate records of all work performed and submit detailed reportsRequirements:Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have equivalent working rights in AustraliaPrevious experience in cathodic protection, corrosion control, or a related field is highly regarded (but not essential)Excellent Communications SkillsAbility to work independently or as part of a teamWillingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniquesComputer and software skills, including Microsoft OfficeA valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various job sitesReady to Apply
