A Security Administration role with a trusted organisation, full-time hours, up to $55 p/hour + super.

**Your new company**

Hays Office Support are currently seeking a Protective Security Administration Officer for a well-known Federal Government agency. This is an exciting opportunity to join their team & assist with administrative requirements relating to protective security. This organisation undertakes scientific work of practical, economic, and national significance. The role will require full-time hours and will be offered as a temporary assignment for at least 6 months.

**Your new role**

Based in Kingston and the Hobart CBD, our client is an organisation that focuses on the environment and sustainability. As the Protective Security Administration Officer, you will be responsible for providing a broad range of administrative support to the Protective Security Governance and Physical security teams.

You will be responsible for maintaining databases, engaging with internal staff and clients, compiling reports on security activities and projects, and working with electronic security systems. If you are interested in a high-level administrative role and have experience in this field, this is the job for you

**What you'll need to succeed**

You'll have demonstrated experience as an Administration Officer or similar, along with:

- Technical skills and proven confidence in Microsoft 365
- High level of attention to detail
- Good understanding of processes, and ability to pick up new procedures quickly
- Outstanding communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and take directions from a supervisor
- Australian Citizenship
