GPU Modelling Engineer Job Description

The Role:
Our Australian team specializes in designing and verifying Graphics Processing Units (GPUs).
You will work in a hardware/software co-design environment to craft industry-leading simulation platforms used in GPU research and development.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with architects, design engineers, and verification engineers on specifications, verification plans, and test plans
Develop and maintain C/C++ models and supporting systems
Debug, test, analyze, and improve model functional and performance accuracy
Identify and implement opportunities for improving AMD's design and verification environment
Key Requirements:
A software designer and engineer proficient in C++, skilled in developing complex systems in a structured environment
Excellent written and oral communication skills, able to concisely present results and status to peers and management
Detailed knowledge of GPU or other computer hardware and Graphics APIs is an advantage
Preferred Skills:
Software development using C or C++
Use of industry-standard profiling and debug tools
Graphics API or graphics pipeline knowledge
Academic Qualifications:
Bachelor or Master level degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field
