**The opportunity**:
We are looking for a casual Dispensary Technician/student to join our supportive and collaborative team located onsite in the Epworth Hospital in Camberwell, you'll make a daily difference to the lives of people in the local community. You'll deliver exceptional pharmacy services for our client hospitals and their patients. And you'll do it with an innovative, multidisciplinary team of connected, caring people.

The site is situated near great coffee shops like NAPA and The Bakers Wife for those coffee connoisseurs. The train station is only a 10 min walk and the tram literally stops at the pharmacy's doorstep. And the staff are super friendly and fun to work with

**In this role, you'll**:

- Receive, dispense and supply medications for hospital inpatients and outpatients
- Assist in processing and maintaining imprest levels, and managing hospital ward stock
- Reconcile and manage prescriptions and patient medication discharge profiles
- Provide support to patients, carers and hospital staff
- Process PBS claims and assist in producing medication profiles to hospital patients on discharge
- Assist in the sale of S2 and S3 medicines while displaying an appropriate level of knowledge
- Process sales and manage the start & end of day till processes on our advanced point-of-sale program
- Replenish stock and maintain inventory levels
- Assist with the customer flow by engaging with our pharmacy team and waiting customers
- Assist with merchandising, invoicing, and other inventory management duties
- Confidently complete administrative and record keeping duties
- Assist with patient account enquiries
