From developing market-leading legal platforms to streamlining client service, we're committed to staying ahead of the curve, and you'll be right there with us.Key ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you'll work across a range of property-related commercial disputes, litigation, and advisory matters, including:Property development, insurance, strata rules, leasing, and general property lawInsurance-related disputes, including policy interpretation, coverage issues, and claims managementConstruction disputes and broader contractual issuesDebt recovery and enforcement mattersStrata and community title disputes, with a strong focus on Western Australian legislationDrafting legal correspondence, court documents, and client adviceManaging files and attending court hearingsBriefing counsel and preparing witness and expert evidencePreparing materials for interlocutory and final hearingsAbout YouWe're looking for someone who is:Intelligent, motivated and genuinely interested in developing a career in property law;A proactive self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced and collaborative environment; andMeticulous, well-organised and committed to delivering outstanding client service.Ideal candidates will have:A law degree (completed or near completion)An interest in property law and/or commercial litigation, with any prior exposure (through clerkships, internships, or university subjects) viewed favourablyAn understanding of court procedures, especially SAT, Magistrates' and Supreme Court, or a willingness to quickly learnStrong academic results that reflect your commitment to excellenceExcellent written and verbal communication skillsA collaborative mindset, strong interpersonal skills, and an eagerness to learn from senior practitionersAbout Bugden AllenWith offices in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, and the Sunshine Coast, Bugden Allen Group is led by some of Australia's foremost experts in strata and property law.With 1 in 4 Australians now living in strata, this is a rapidly growing sector, and we're proud to be leading it.
