**About Us**

Our charming residential aged care facility, Guildford Village, has been caring for the elderly in the Perth community since 1982. Our facility strives to feel like home for the residents and our staff are tasked with caring for residents as they would for their own family. Our experience in service delivery is reflected through 40 years of maintaining the highest of standards for our clients.

**About the Role**

The role of the Scheduler is to be responsible for the coordination of staff and the delivery of support to clients through the provision of effective scheduling. The role keeps ideal service delivery in mind at all times, looking to ensure that our clients are taken care of as effectively as possible. The role is accountable for building regular staff rosters and for putting out day-to-day spot fires caused by unplanned absences or cancellations. The role works closely with both our staff and our clients, maintaining a customer service approach and seeking to keep all involved as well-informed as possible.

**Key focuses for the role include**:

- Ensuring rosters are regularly reviewed to meet key service indicators.
- Minimising travel time to increase the optimisation of direct client time.
- Attending to day-to-day rescheduling and covering of unplanned absences.
- Ensuring the appropriate compatibility of staff with clients.

**This role is located at our residential aged care facility in Guildford. The role will work for both our Guildford Village facility and for St Jude's Home Care Services. This role is being hired on a permanent full time basis.**

**Skills & Experience**

**Key desirables include the below**:

- Previous experience working within scheduling or scheduling for a complex service delivery business, ideally within healthcare, is highly desirable.
- An understanding of scheduling principles is desirable, but not essential.
- An understanding of or experience working within the aged care sector is desirable, but not essential.
- A high level of competency using computer systems and software.
- Ability to manage competing deadlines and priorities.
