**The Opportunity**
You will be working as a Unit Leader to successfully lead and support the continued delivery of a portfolio of some of Australia's most significant greenfield community projects and drive the development and promotion of improved service offerings and solutions in collaboration with other Veris service streams.

**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Leading and motivating a team of cadastral surveyors and land development consultants working predominantly in the Victorian greenfields sector.
- Collaborating with other business units (service streams) and teams in other parts of Australia to improve service delivery and win work across our national footprint.
- Regularly report on team progress, performance, and challenges to senior management, and identify areas where team members may need additional training or skills development.
- Set a vision of performance excellence and lead a culture of accountability where each person positively contributes to agreed team outcomes.
- A proactive approach to client engagement, work winning and retention, including maintaining client relationships and preparing fee proposals and solutions for clients.
- Lead and actively promote and engage in our "safety first" policies and culture to keep our people safe.
- Providing guidance in the continued development of improved methods and procedures for efficient survey data capture and processing.
- Team development including career and performance, recruitment and structural strategy.

**About You**
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate the following skills and experience:

- Tertiary or other recognised institution qualifications in Survey, Engineering, Geospatial or related disciplines - or significant experience in a similar role.
- Ability to identify, develop and promote solutions that result in a higher quality deliverables and work winning opportunities.
- Ability to lead a team, set efficient operational structure, and contribute to implementation of business systems and strategy.
- Ability to work autonomously and as an effective team member.
- Delivery-focused, self-starter, problem-solver.
- A commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and professionalism in all your dealings.
- Ability to maintain client relationships to a high level.
- Excellent communication skills.
